Thank you to everyone who's contacted me about the fires currently burning in So. California. Since we live in the Topanga Canyon area, we're at risk each year...the price of living away from concrete and asphalt. For the past several days we've been smelling the smoke and feeling it in our throats, but we've thankfully not been more seriously affected. ...and our thoughts are certainly with families that are not so fortunate this week...
In the meantime I've been spending time in our fading yard, photographing the greens and remembering how much I love them.
