I know it's almost too much information to process - but in addition to announcing news about my next album project (to be released in early 2008) I also want to announce that I've been working on a fun side project, too.
"Story of My Ghost" started out as a couple of piano melodies that came to me in my dreams and other moments of not-thinking-too-hard. Each song is a scribble of music, something spontaneous and transitory. These recordings are like the margin-scratches that you make when you're bored in geometry class.
Three of these songs are now available to listen to on my new Myspace page. Songs will be available for purchase soon, but for now, just enjoy the listen.
They all sound lovely, but Checkerboard is simply brilliant!
