Hazards on the job

In the tiny crack between waking thoughts and dream ones, last night I heard the most beautiful music. The music was so stunning, I couldn't believe it was coming from my head. As I became more awake, it slipped and was repelled from my grip. My synapses tried to negotiate, but the music wouldn't have any of it. It only wanted to be dreamed. Not heard.

One of the hazards of the job, I'm afraid.

Things are ridiculously busy, and I had to rearrange how I spend my 5am hour - music - or blog? I will write more soon...hopefully before all the icecaps melt. xo T.
