Thin mint delite

March 21, 2007

It's that Girl Scout Cookie time of year again. I don't know about you, but I always have to mentally prepare myself ahead of time for the onslaught of sugar and trans fat because I just can't resist the goodness. So I work myself through certain twisted logic in order to assuage upcoming guilt. I give myself guidelines and rules that will allow for a certain threshold...to pace myself.

Yes. I'm just that unstoppable.

Oh gosh - it's reasons like this that I'm glad we're not in the city. We have the occasional child come to the door selling something for school, which we buy - not so much that we'll actually use it, but we like to support the kids.

Case in point: We bought one of those Entertainment Books last year, with all the coupons. I think we've used one and haven't looked in it again.

Now, while the $40 Entertainment Book may not get used, I'm sure that $40 worth of Girl Guide cookies would get eaten. There's no doubt about that.
