It was really strange to see the woman who stole our information. I was sitting next to the owner of a Japanese restaurant who was also a witness and he turned to me and said, That's our girl, huh? Yep. She was pretty much the most non-descript person I could think of. Some other people who were also witnesses, knew her. They were muttering on about what an idiot she is. Yep.
I may be called back in to testify, though it looks like they probably won't need me since I already told my story to the detective. He will be able to explain what happened.
Here's the moral of the story, kids.
01. Don't put money (cash, check, etc) in your own mailbox.
02. Watch your bank account for possible strange activity.
03. Bad guys aren't necessarily scary looking.
Other than that, just enjoy the ride and keep your nose clean.
So, you're an advocate for nose-picking? Seems appropriate. :)
