Dogs and the moon

January 31, 2007

Without looking at the sky, I always know when it's a full moon.

The dogs in my neighborhood? They have something to say about it. All night.

And then our next door neighbors? To drown out the howling? They turn the TV on REALLY LOUD.

And then we? We turn on the "noise machine" to drown out the tv, which drowns out the dogs.

And then Kevin? He piles his head with pillows to drown out the noise machine, which drowns out the tv, which drowns out the dogs.

And then I? I think to myself, The dogs? They got it right. If I could, I would howl too.

I have loud neighbors as well. Barking dogs, parties, etc.
I've resorted to sleeping with headphones and music playing.
Amy has resorted to earplugs.

Earplugs saved my life. I can't sleep without them :)
