We continued throughout the day to delve into such weightiness as purpose, reality, personality, beliefs, alternative business models, genetic predisposition, interconnectedness of the universe, and of course, God. I know right now you're thinking, What fun. Followed quickly by your question, Pretentious much?
It's interesting that after being best friends with someone for an entire lifetime, I can still learn new things about her. For instance, this weekend I learned more about her spiritual philosophy, her social philosophy, and that she doesn't recognize David Boreanaz when he walks past her.
And that she doesn't recognize the name when I say, That was David Boreanaz!
But that she totally knows him when I say, Angel!
And within 1.365 seconds, she's on the cell phone to our friend Laurie to re-enact the whole "encounter" of being on the same sidewalk at the same time as Angel.
Although - on second thought - those 1.365 seconds would have been better spent using the cell phone to take a photograph of his back, as he opened the door to a restaurant behind us. Because that...THAT would've been PROOF...proof that...he...exists...which would've totally tied into our earlier conversation about...important things.

Hee! I kind of like him on Bones. I could never sit through an entire episode of Buffy, let alone Angel. My friends hate me a little whenever we talk about our favourite TV shows because I seem to be the only that never liked Buffy or Angel. The only sci-fi show I really watch (and I'm a total fangirl when it comes to it) is Battlestar Galactica. Does Lost count as sci-fi? Does Lost fit in any genre anyway?
