Broke machines

July 21, 2006

The computer's gone haywire again. The mutiny started yesterday, though right now it's working. I know it's only trying to lull me into trusting it - so it can smash my heart with a sneaky final blow. And the coffee maker is totally taking advantage of the distraction, deciding to coattail the disaster in a caffeinated, defiant gesture of splattery protest. And my car?!! The cassette deck munched my CD adaptor, the brakes started squealing, and the A/C is dead. What is this world coming to? All my best machine friends are totally, like, giving me the finger. I promise from now on, I'll tithe to the electronic gods. Just, please. Don't leave me.
