Getting to done

June 06, 2006

It should really be no surprise to anyone who has read more than two of my blog entries, to hear that I have issues with organization, procrastination, and follow-through. Simple things will be allowed to pile up, fester, and contaminate my well-being. Most of the weight on my shoulders is caused by things like dry cleaning, emptying trash, making phone calls, and removing chipped nail polish. Oh, yes. My life is terribly difficult.

However, as benign as these daily activities may sound, their combined force has the power of an entire voting demographic. It's like Dry Cleaning says to Nail Polish, Hey, Chipper, why don't you remove yourself in a slow, flaking motion? ...you'll go unnoticed for a lot longer, PLUS the lingering of your erosion will pick away at her soul. If we combine our efforts, we can take her DOWN. And Nail Polish is all, Cheerio. But Dry Cleaning totally knows what's up, considering that I went to pick up a jacket on Monday and the dry cleaner handed me a skirt that I brought in last December.

It's been my concentrated effort for the last two weeks to GET THINGS DONE. I'm a little wobbly on certain issues, but I'm becoming a real whiz at other things. On the list of Whiz, is songwriting...which is, like, superfly, because it combines productivity with creativity. On the list of Wobble is blog writing and email. So, my apologies for less timely postings and correspondence...but I'm pretty sure you can handle it.
