Songs are going well. I start to wonder if these updates are necessary. They're kind of unfair, since nobody knows what I'm talking about yet. The sound of this album has changed so much over the past year. I hardly recognize it. Some people may have heard (3 of X)...well, it doesn't sound anything like that. Some people may have heard Reject Demos...and it doesn't sound anything like that either.
I'm constantly surprised how long it takes to make an album. For some people, they can pull it together with live musicians in 1/10 of the time it takes us to make our digital soundwork. I'm envious of that ability on a daily basis. Especially in recent days.
So I guess this is a little bit of an apology for disappearing so completely from the world.
Dreamed a song at 3:50 this morning. I woke up and trotted into my studio. In the dark, I wrote down the lyrics I could remember...and a bit of the melody. Of course, it sounds pretty lame now. But that's the way my brain is working. I have a temporary track list for the album. I'm almost going to guarantee that it will change. But here it is...for now.

I'm almost certain that I Will WON'T make the final cut. It will probably be relegated to a b-side, along with Memory Picture and Scorpio. Yes. Scorpio. I've decided to go there.
Anyhow. That's the preliminary track list. Although it sounds impressive, we still have to track vocals, which we're going to start next weekend. So, yay! Slowly but surely. :)
