Some demos that I recorded back in July have been mailed out to a select few people who might enjoy their minimalism. Two songs.
1. At the End of the Year
2. What if it All Falls Apart
Both songs have been cut from the album, but on revisiting the demos the other day, I realized they weren't horribly embarrassing or anything. They're just not right for the album. I've called the two songs (collectively) "Reject Ballads". Aw. Aren't I clever? (Who's the dork??)
Been writing a song tentatively called The Time Machine for the past 5 days. Having a hard time getting into the bridge. This morning I played the song for Kevin. He's not into the chorus but loves the verses. I take what he says seriously, so now I'm going to spend time today chopping up the chorus. I should rename the album to "Overanalysis, Paranoia, and Indecision."
